Seven-day Recording Policy

CookieSensei Labs Private Limited provides available class recordings for short-term personal revision. Replays support participation in a workshop or cohort and are not a permanent archive.

1. What a recording can include

Depending on the session’s recording mode, a replay can contain shared-screen content, presenter and participant audio, and camera video. College workshop downloads made in screen-share mode include the shared screen and audio, excluding camera video. That screen-share limit does not describe every other classroom or older recording.

Read the session’s recording notice and contact the instructor before participating if you have a concern. Keep your camera or microphone off when you do not wish to contribute those streams. Screen content and anything spoken while your microphone is on may still be included in a recorded session. Do not expose confidential information or other people’s private details.

2. Watch or download within seven days

When a recording is ready, eligible learners can watch or download it through the relevant service. The seven-day window starts when recording finishes; each replay shows its exact expiry time. Processing delays or refreshing the page do not extend the deadline.

After expiry, online playback and downloads stop. The retention service removes expired server files. A service or storage outage can delay physical deletion until it recovers; online expiry is not a promise that all storage copies disappear at the exact same second.

3. Who has access

Student-library access requires active enrollment in the recording’s cohort and a completed session. Other cohorts, admin pages and private guest meetings are not included. A forwarded playback URL does not grant an unrelated student access.

College workshop recordings are accessed through that workshop’s page and a private email verification/download process for registered attendees. Keep those links private. Availability also depends on a successful recording and the correct session access.

4. Downloaded copies

A copy you download stays on your device after our server copy expires. Keep it for your own revision. Do not publish, resell, redistribute or use recordings for unrelated purposes without the necessary permission from us and the affected participants or rights holders. We cannot remotely erase copies already held by recipients.

5. Missed sessions and privacy concerns

If you miss a week, contact us to discuss another suitable batch and how to continue learning. A transfer depends on availability and agreement; your account is not automatically moved.

Report a recording that contains private information or was shared improperly through our grievance contact, identifying the session and relevant point in the recording. Do not forward the private recording or access token to a public forum.
